Lately, there has been a lot of media attention around Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and it is great that these stories are making the headlines. Many are addressing the topic of prevention and treatment options. The recent wave of news regarding clinical trials in the area of dementia research has also created a flurry of discussion.
Please join us on May 22nd to hear from Dr. Sharon Cohen, a neurologist in the field of Alzheimer’s clinical research to learn about risk factors, prevention and treatment. After the lecture, you are welcome to participate in an on-site “cheek swab” to assess your risk for Alzheimer’s disease. Registration opens at 5:30 pm, presentation begins at 6:00 pm.
